Name: Ashanti Cason

Joining Cosumnes River College from Galt, CA, Ashanti joins a few of her former teammates. One of three current Hawks from Liberty Ranch High School, Ashanti has quickly found her comfort zone among her former and new teammates. Some of the athletic highlights before coming to CRC have been making playoffs in high school during her Junior and Senior year. Ashanti loves eating shrimp and watching “The Girl on the Train”. Striving to be a therapist, Cason is studying human services. The most inspirational person in her athletic career has been her dad. In one word, Ashanti can be described as patient.
