The Hawks showed fight against #3 Delta, keeping the pressure on all night

The Hawks put up a strong fight against #3 San Joaquin Delta, taking the second set and challenging one of the top teams in the state in a competitive four-set match (17–25, 25–22, 19–25, 19–25).

Cosumnes River found momentum in the second set, capitalizing on solid passing and timely attacks to even the match at one apiece. Lauren Stutes led the offense with 9 kills and an impressive .471 hitting percentage, while Paityn Snow added 11 kills and Davina Amen contributed 9. Setter Ella Cline paced the attack with 31 assists and three service aces.

Despite the loss, the Hawks showed determination and energy throughout the contest, continuing to build consistency and chemistry as they move through conference play.
