The Hawks put up a strong fight against #3 San Joaquin Delta, taking the second set and challenging one of the top teams in the state in a competitive four-set match (17–25, 25–22, 19–25, 19–25).
Cosumnes River found momentum in the second set, capitalizing on solid passing and timely attacks to even the match at one apiece.
