Facing one of the top teams in the region, the Hawks never stopped competing, even as Santa Rosa's depth and shooting eventually created separation.
Aletha Singleton led the charge with 14 points while logging heavy minutes, attacking the paint and setting the tone with her effort on both ends. Fifita Grewe added key interior presence off the bench, and the Hawks collectively fought on the glass, pulling down 17 offensive rebounds to generate extra chances.
While Santa Rosa's pressure defense and scoring balance were difficult to overcome, Cosumnes River's toughness, hustle, and willingness to keep pushing stood out.
